How To Use a Coffee Tamper
Firstly, spoon your ground coffee into your portafilter, evening it out using a pronged distribution tool. Then, press the grounds down firmly by placing your tamper on top of your portafilter and applying even pressure to create a level, compact puck. Then, insert the portafilter into the machine as normal to brew a balanced, flavourful espresso shot.
